Mechatronics Servicing NC II

Course Description

The course covers training on competencies that will enable a person to install, configure, and test mechatronics and automation devices/systems. With the current training modality, the trainees will be exposed more to hands-on experience through the installation and testing of industrial systems like basic motor controllers, electro-pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), sensors, software and computers using relevant industry-level equipment.

Exceeding the statutory standards; software installation, PLC configuration, basic PLC programming, loop testing, and troubleshooting are also included in the modules.

After the training, the trainees will have a mandatory TESDA national competency assessment with focus on the following core competencies:

(COC1) Install mechatronics and Automation Devices
(COC2) Configure and Test Mechatronics and Automation System

Graduates of this training program are qualified to be:

• Mechatronics/Automation Installer
• Mechatronics/Automation Technician
• Equipment Maintenance Technician
• Control Panel Installer

TRAINING MODALITY

• Competency-based Training (CBT) - Blended online learning

DURATION:

• Two (2) weeks - online learning
• Two (2) weeks - face to face lectures and hands-on activities
