Instrumentation & Control Servicing NC II

(Only available in Cebu and Dumaguete Branch)

Course Description

This training course combines lecture and hands-on work to provide detailed insight into industrial measurement and control including calibration loop checking & documentation.

In this training, students will learn what, where and how to measure parameters for the proper monitoring and control of their equipment. With this understanding, they will be able to work much more efficiently on the industrial systems and processes for which they are responsible. A sound knowledge in instrumentation and control is certain to result in better qualified technicians/engineers and less equipment failures. This course is designed to provide workers with the knowledge they need to keep your
plant up and running as efficiently and expensively as possible. Instrumentation Technicians, Engineers, Designers, and Plant Managers/Owners will gain an understanding of common terminology, practices, and applications used in measurement and control systems.

This course is necessary if you maintain or support process controls systems for
manufacturing as well as industrial processes plants. At the end of the course, graduates will gain the following core components:

  1. Install Instrumentation & Control devices
  2. Calibrate Instrumentation & Control devices
  3. Configure Instrumentation & Control devices

Graduates will then be qualified to take the Competency Assessment Level II and are subsequently issued National Certificate Level II once they have passed the assessment.

DURATION: FIVE (5) WEEKS

• Three (3) weeks of online module
• Two (2) weeks of face-to-face classes and hands-on training using actual field equipment.

TRAINING HOURS

• 9:00am - 5:00pm for face-to-face classes
• 238 hrs for completion
